Natural Acne Treatments
One of the best ways to avoid acne, or help to prevent it is to avoid citric acids. Citric acid contributes to acne breakouts. There is a good natural effective treatment to acne, which is apple cider vinegar. The best apple cider vinegar to use is Bragg's organic vinegar. Apple cider vinegar has some powerful health benefits, because of its antibacterial properties. It is such a powerful benefit; it can be also be used as a health drink. Just add 1 to 2 teaspoons of Bragg's vinegar to an 8oz glass of water, 3 times a day, in the morning, afternoon, and late in evening. It is definitely a great benefit for acne prone skin by killing bacteria that cause acne, and reducing the skin pH level, but remember also that that a healthy diet is important as well. In order to make your apple cider vinegar treatment for acne, start by mixing together half apple cider vinegar, and half water in a container, so you can use for later use. If you have severe acne, then leave the apple cider vinegar mix on on your skin overnight, make sure you use cotton balls to dab on skin. You an also use it 3 times a day, and leave it on for 15 minutes, then rinse with warm water, then cool water. Cool water will help make the acne look less prominent. Another tip is to clean your face first with a mild soap before applying the apple cider vinegar.

Hi, great idea about vinegar, I wish I had known when I was a teenager, my skin was terrible! I ended up having to go to the Doctors to get something called sulphur and salycilic acid cream! worked a treat! but it did dry my skin, thanks for the great info, cheers nell
