What Dog To Get

I did research on the best dog to get for my family. At first I purchased a Chihuahua, but later it died. But when you have children living in the house or apartment, certain dogs adapt better to your particular situations. Basically my family and I settle for a Dachshund, and we all live in a house, but I can admit, the Dachshund do not get along with my children. Some of the best dogs to own with children are Basset Hound, Beagle, Boxer, Collie, German Shepherd, Labrador Retriever,Old English Sheep Dog, Shih Tzu, there are others that could make this list as well. Certain dogs are not children friendly, especially my Dachshund. I definitely did not do a thorough search when pet shopping, but our Dachshund is adapting. The non children friendly dogs are Border Collie, Coon Hound, Chihuahua, Chow Miniature Pinscher, Poodle. Depending on your living situations certain dogs can go without a yard, if residing in an apartment. These dogs are Basset Hound, Bull Dogs, Chihuahua, Dachshund, Cocker Spaniel, Great Dane, Maltese, St. Bernard. There are many things to consider when acquiring about a dog, always consider the living arrangements, and space for the dog. Dogs can, and will get stressed when they feel unable to run and jump. Animals have feelings as well, and they communicate with us by use of their tail and bark.

I always wanted a big - as in huge dogs. Had a Rottweiler before. But now that I'm going to have a baby, I'm considering getting smaller ones just to be safe.
